How to draw OPSESS

Today’s tangle is another one based on the S-shaped stroke and you’ll see how just a small change or two can produce a different tangle.

Opsess is from CZT Donald Wilka and it’s his first on the site. Donald is located in Russiaville IN and is member of CZT10.

On his blog, he writes he became interested in Zentangle® in 2010 through his sister, CZT Suzanne Wilka and went on to become a CZT himself.

“I have been an LCSW for almost 40 years. I am currently in a private practice in Kokomo, IN … I was fortunate enough to attend CZT 10 in 2012 and have enjoyed sharing this art form both in my clinical practice and teaching classes in the community since December 2012. … [my interests include] tangling, cycling, knitting, and crocheting!“

In Opsess, the back-to-back columns of S and reverse-S strokes are at joined at the top of the letter form where the beginning strokes meet, instead of leaving a space between the columns as we did with Monday’s Phirst tangle.

Opsess has a bit of an E.T. look to it, or is that just me? 😉
