Today’s Tringle tangle is a tangleation (how’s that for alliteration?!) of the official tangle Munchin and it’s from CZT® Lara Williams. Lara’s previous tangles on the site are Sparkool, LinQ and Ojo.
“I have been seeing a lot of triangle and geometric shapes in art in magazines, in books and online. I was really intrigued by how I could turn this into a new tangle and just started playing with it,” she writes.
Tingle is very flexible, you can use it to fill in any shape section of your Zentangle®. Instead of the pencil fills Laura uses in her examples, I used a Munchin-inspired variation in my example here.
I find this type of tangle where you add alternating and random fills – Cracked and Neuron are more examples – are very soothing to draw. As I wrote about Neuron, “The Zen in this tangle comes in allowing your intuition to guide you in placing the fills (solid or otherwise)”.

Hi, I started doing zentangle about 2 months ago and really love it. I’ve done over 40 zentangles so far. I framed them with 20 in each. They look lovely. My problem is, I want to keep doing them but I don’t know what to do with them. Could someone please give me some suggestions.

Joyce, I started Tangling about a month ago and was wondering the same thing. Then I thought why not start working in Christmas gifts. Some of my tangles will be for the fridge. A small magnetic strip works great and doesn’t cover up the name and date on the back. Another thought: group several together, photograph them and make a calendar! Happy Tangling!!
