How to draw PATORRILLO

Hello again friends and a very happy Friday to you.

Today’s unusual Patorrillo tangle is from Spanish Carmen Muñiz Real.

Carmen writes,

Patorrillo is the name of a typical dish from a Spanish region, La Rioja.

In a class a dear student commented about this dish and the good wine that is in this area, she is from there and between laughter and pleasant conversation this tangle was born.

It works very well as an organic tangle combining it with other tangles but it also works well as a pattern repeating it several times and linking one with another.

For those who enjoy lamb (and I’m not among them) in checking out patorrillo the Spanish dish, the English translation of the Spanish Wikipedia entry makes it sound like a spicy chorizo-type lamb sausage, and its preparation is laborious so it does not appear in many restaurant menus.

I’ll stick with Patorrillo the tangle which is definitely not laborious.
