How to draw 2HEARTS

Zentangle pattern: 2Hearts. Image © Linda Farmer and TanglePatterns.com. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. You may use this image for your personal non-commercial reference only. The unauthorized pinning, reproduction or distribution of this copyrighted work is illegal.Greetings all!

I thought hearts were appropriate today as we prepare for our Thanksgiving celebrations tomorrow in the USA with all the love and gratitude surrounding this special occasion.

Taiwan CZT Mina Hsiao shares her sweet 2Hearts tangle with us today and it’s her 17th cool tangle on the site.

She writes,

2Hearts is an easy pattern. The source of inspiration is from practicing henna. I have learned henna tattoo 3-4years ago with Sarah (CZT 17, Taiwan). Recently, I practiced the henna technique again.

Suddenly, a pattern emerged in my mind. 2Hearts (heart line and a circle) is created.

When I drew this pattern again and again, I found it can use tangle enchancers (aura, rounding, shading …… ) . 2Hearts is a continuous line tangle that can be drawn in a grid or free form. Just turn the tile, you can easily draw.

This pattern is so simple and fun, I hope you will enjoy drawing it.

For my 2Hearts example, I chose to do it ribbon-style and some might say it became 4Hearts 😉 Continuous line tangles are so much fun!

Mina illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing 2Hearts below and her tile shows ways to flip and rotate 2Hearts within a grid structure and some ways of embellishing it.
