Today we have another tangle from Yu Ru Chen and she’s named it LitBee because “It looks like a bee waving its wings.”
Although LitBee may look like it’s complicated to draw, it is truly very easy even for beginning tanglers.
LitBee is a grid-based tangle composed of an unusual combination of shapes that result in quite a lovely tangle.
Yu Ru illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing LitBee below and she features it in a monotangle with a couple of possible variations.
As you enjoy any of the tangles on the site, please do leave a comment of thanks and encouragement to show the artists you appreciate them for sharing their creativity to inspire yours.
Check out the tag yuruc for more of Yu Ru’s tangles on TanglePatterns.com.

I love this one! A grid tangle with wings! So easy, yet pretty! Thanks so much for sharing!
YuRu,
Thank you for sharing your lovely tangle that includes the basics strokes in such a unique manner. This will be a fun tangle to teach.
This is a “Yes” pattern for me, and I am looking forward to giving it a whirl, thank you for sharing.
Bonjour j’aime beaucoup cet enchevêtrement.
Very nice..Love it..
This is a delightful tangle! I’ve drawn it large & small, experimented with Yu Ru’s variations and alternated the directions of the fragments which created a wonderful meta-tangle. What a fun evening of exploration! I do believe this tangle will find its way onto many of my tiles. It would make a striking border too!
