Zentangle copyright update

Let's discuss it!CZT® Kass Hall added this comment to our recent copyright discussion (“Copyright issues you should know“) and it’s an important notice so I wanted to bring it to everyone’s attention.

“There is an update to the Zentangle® legal page which discusses copyright and the implication from now on, including for non CZTs. I think this is essential reading for ALL Zentangle® enthusiasts who publish online, teach or otherwise.

Thanks, Kass.

  • no probs Linda – I think it clears up some of the issues I raised in my article several weeks ago and means everyone should be clear and on the same page about what is considered OK and otherwise 🙂

I went to look at the legal page to read the things they want “non-CZT’s” to abide by, but apparently you have to have special permission to look at it. Since I am not a CZT and not able to see the page, how can I abide by their rules?

Zentangle.com has been redesigned since this was written in 2011 and the link has changed.

Try starting here: Intellectual Property Guidelines.

And as you’re interested, have a good look around the site including the links at the bottom of the pages – there’s lots you can learn when you try 🙂
