How to draw FANS

Zentangle pattern: Fans. Image © Linda Farmer and TanglePatterns.com. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. You may use this image for your personal non-commercial reference only. The unauthorized pinning, reproduction or distribution of this copyrighted work is illegal.Fans is a whimsical tangle pattern from CZT® Suzanne McNeill, and one of the 25 included in her Zentangle 2 book. This is a really fun pattern to draw. For myself, I find the secret for almost all of these is to keep turning the paper as I go.

Suzanne illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing her pattern Fans here. UPDATE: Early in the Summer of 2014 Suzanne McNeill’s blog was removed and all the posts and images were lost, so this link no longer works.

Her site is being reconstructed as much as possible and until it’s available again, many of her patterns like Fans can quite easily be figured out. Have fun challenging your Zentangle® deconstructing abilities!

I can never find step by step instructions no matter
what I click on. PPlease help.

    • Linda Farmer

Hi Jan, Perhaps you didn’t scroll down far enough on Suzanne’s page – her drawing is at the end of her post.

On tanglepatterns, the link is always set like this:

“Suzanne illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing her pattern Fans, here.”

So you click on the word “here” to go to where the drawing is posted. Then depending on where the drawing is, you may have to read down to the end.

Please let me know if this solves the problem you were having.

Thanks for your interest in tanglepatterns.com!

PS – Jan emailed me to let me know that solved her problem. Case resolved. 🙂
