How to draw OJO

Zentangle pattern: OjoAfter the somewhat challenging Bandola tangle from Friday, I thought we’d have a couple of relatively easy patterns this week for all our new tanglers.

This playful tangle pattern is really simple – and fun!  Ojo was created by CZT® Lara Williams from “the great city of Indianapolis.” This is Lara’s first tangle on the site.

As I was coming up with the steps I first thought it looked like a bug and then I noticed that it looked like an eye with really long pretty eye lashes. My long ago experience with Spanish immediately brought up the word for eye in Spanish and voila (that’s all the french i know) we have OJO.

On her blog, Lara points out you start with the circles and then add the connecting lines. She illustrates the step-by-step instructions for drawing her Ojo tangle, here.

Check out the tag laraw for more of Lara’s patterns on TanglePatterns.com.
