How to draw SPROCKET

Zentangle pattern: SprocketSprocket is a whimsical tangle pattern that makes a great border in your Zentangles® and Zentangle-inspired-art.

Sprocket was created by Vera Giesbrecht, from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Known as vera.1955 on flickr where she’s also got some cool photos, she shares a little about herself and how she got started with Zentangle®:

I’m a medical laboratory technologist (virology) by day and photographer and tangler by night. Work cramps my style. Found out about Zentangle last July when I attended an art show by Margaret Bremner (a local artist and CZT). I bought one of her Zentangle inspired pieces, googled Zentangle, ordered a kit from Rick and Maria and the rest is history. I recently entered two of my tangles in an art show for members of our Mendel Art Gallery and both pieces sold on opening night which made my day.

Vera posted the step-by-step instructions for drawing her pattern Sprocket, here.
