How to draw DEMI

Tangle pattern: DEMIDemi is a tangle pattern by soon-to-be CZT, fellow Canadian Geneviève Crabe, and this is the first of her patterns published on TanglePatterns.com, with her own illustration (thanks, and welcome!). Geneviève is known as Amaryllis Creations on flickr.

Geneviève is taking the CZT® course next week, and will begin offering Zentangle classes in the St. Thomas, Ontario, area soon thereafter. She is originally from Montréal, and writes on her blog:

Art has always been part of my life in one form or another. My mother was an artist and always encouraged my artistic endeavours. Back in the ’70s and ’80s, it was drawing, crochet, and needlepoint. In the last ten or so years, I have become involved in painting, pen & ink, and beading.

Geneviève shows the step-by-step instructions for drawing her tangle pattern Demi, here.

Update March 25, 2011: Geneviève posted several great variations of Demi, here.
