How to draw BOWTIES

Zentangle pattern: BowtiesIt’s been at least a few patterns since I posted one that’s drawn using a grid and I was beginning to have withdrawal! This tangle pattern was created by flickr member Lori Howe, aka lacefairy1, and she names it Bowties.

Bowties is a great optical illusion pattern where the larger-nibbed Micron pens come into play once you get the basic shapes into place. You can fill those large areas with the larger 05, 08 or Graphic nibs and save your 01 for the finer detailed lines.

Lori shows us the step-by-steps for drawing her pattern Bowties, here.
