How to draw CROSSROADS

Zentangle pattern: CrossroadsCrossroads is a tangle pattern designed by Sandra Strait, aka Molossus on flickr. As Sandra writes, “We all come to a crossroads sooner or later, forced to make a choice that will change our life. This crossroads pattern isn’t life-changing, but it is bold and striking and can change your zentangle in elegant ways.”

I confess to have taken liberties with the original pattern here with some variation just for fun.

Sandra shows the step-by-step instructions for drawing Crossroads on her blog, here. Crossroads is also one of the 100+ patterns included in Sandy Bartholomew’s book, Totally Tangled.

Check out the tag: sandras for more of Sandra’s patterns on tanglepatterns.com.

  • I love your variation! One of the things I love about creating patterns is seeing a zentangle and thinking, “Ooh! What a cool tangle!” and then realizing it’s a twist on one of mine. Makes me feel proud of myself and the other person, too.
