This tangle pattern, Laced, was created by CZT® Mary Elizabeth Martin of Pollock Pines, CA.
Laced is a fun pattern to play around with and also has great potential for variants using shading and other shapes.
Mary Elizabeth’s step-by-step instructions on how to draw her Laced tangle are here.

Love this pattern. Thank you for sharing.
There’s nothing to see at this link. Where the picture should be is just a big exclamation point. I’ve tried on two different computers at two different locations. Good news is this isn’t that difficult to figure out.
Thanks for the heads up! Mary Elizabeth moved her blog and she has just reposted the steps there. The link will take you to the new location for the steps.
very nice and pleasant tangle, I use that pattern a lot, thanks for sharing.
The pattern is not difficult but it really has this “mystery drama” I love so much. Thanks a lot ! 🙂
Nice and fun too. Think this may become a favorite.
Isn’t it fun when we “find” a tangle we haven’t used before but has been around awhile? I really like it and can see how it can be used to bring some other tangles together. I’m looking forward to using it.
Thanks Mary Elizabeth for this very fun tangle. And I even know where Pollock Pines is. 😀
This is one of my favourite tangles to use – so much flexibility with this and it opens the door to a lot of creativity for me. I found it a couple of years back and I love using it 🙂
