The tangle pattern Pegs comes from Arja de Lange-Huisman of The Netherlands and Arja shares a whole bunch of variations to play with.

When surfing on the internet I noticed Zentangle at the end of februari 2011. I contacted Maria Vennekens CZT for a workday. Unfortunately or fortunetly my middlelest kid (son) was invited to swim for his diploma A and I couldn’t go to Maria. So I bought the big Zentangle kit instead. I now enjoy tangling on the tiles with the micropen. I love making minitures on a ‘big’ tile with a flowing movement on it.”

Nice one! Such a lot of possible variations. I don’t like beginning with a pencil grid, not really Zentangle, but a field of offset dots should work. I’ll have to try that. Thanks!
