How to draw SCAPE

Scape is a fun grid-based tangle from Maryland CZT Angie Gittles who most recently shared her cool A-Frame tangle with us.

Angie describes her tangle and why she named it Scape:

“Scape is a fragment that makes a variety of patterns when turned in various directions.

I feel like some of the samples look like stepping stones surrounded by landscape stones – making a path through the landscape – or scape for short.”

Angie shares three examples demonstrating her point about how rotating and/or mirroring Scape‘s grid “seed” or fragment, changes the end result of the design.
