If TanglePatterns Matters to You, Please Help Keep It Going in 2027

Hello my tangling friends,

For more than sixteen years TanglePatterns has been a place where tanglers around the world can discover new tangles, revisit old favorites, and find fresh inspiration three times every week.

Today I’m asking for your help to keep it online in 2027.

At this time each year I have to look ahead and determine whether I can cover the site’s operating expenses for another year. Subscriptions including hosting, security, daily server backups, email delivery, and all the other services needed to keep TanglePatterns online have ongoing costs — and those costs continue to rise. You can read more about them here.

Your donation helps keep the site and its extensive library of tangles, step-by-step instructions, tutorials, and Zentangle® resources freely available to everyone. There is no subscription, no paywall, and no barrage of in-your-face pop-up ads for its users.

TanglePatterns is still a one-person operation. It’s just me, folks — there’s no crew behind the scenes. I research and prepare each post, process every image, manage the archives, review submissions, answer emails, and take care of all the other details that keep the site running smoothly and securely.

I love doing this work, and it’s a privilege to share TanglePatterns with this wonderful community. But I simply cannot keep the site online without financial help from the people who value and use it.
