How to draw SNOOKUMS

Snookums is simplicity itself and a very flexible tangle. It has many fun possibilities for variation and I chose one of them for my example, adding a bit of shading. This makes a great border tangle.

Here BJ illustrates the step-by-step instructions for Snookums.

Snookums is an easy and vesatile tangle. It will be great as a string, border, filler or wherever your creative strokes take you. One question – what is the secret to going around corners with the tangle? The straight part of Snookums is easy but I am having difficulty mastering turning the corners, as in the variations. Happy Holidays to All :). Dee aka GingerKatte

I remember when BJ did this one at CZT3 training. It was a fun tangle then…and it still is!! Thanks, Linda, for posting this.

So glad to see this on the web! I was there (in a CZT class) when B.J. invented this tangle.

  • Snookums is such a cute tangle pattern, especially the variations.

My Mom use to call my oldest Niece “Snookums” as a pet name when she was a baby.
