Wishing you bountiful blessings this Thanksgiving Day and every day

As I was contemplating what I wanted to say to you on this very special occasion, I looked back at my message from last year and thought it would be pretty hard to express my feelings much better. So with your kind permission I’m sending you love and gratitude with these thoughts …

“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” –John F. KennedyTomorrow in the U.S. we will be enjoying Thanksgiving Day traditions with family and friends and giving special thanks for all the reasons we have to be grateful every single day of the year.

Thank you so much for being part of this wonderful, caring, sharing Zentangle® community. We are all very blessed to know each other and experience this special journey together, whether near or far.

I am thankful for you each and every day, I’m especially blessed and enriched by having you in my life.

To everyone celebrating tomorrow, my best wishes to you and yours for a very Happy Thanksgiving.

And may everyone be blessed with peace and abundance.

With much love and gratitude not just today, but every day. XX

I’ll be back on Friday with another great tangle! In the meantime, here’s a cool graphic from The New York Times summarizing data about Thanksgiving flight patterns (not tangles) from Google: Pumpkin Pie in Miami. Enjoy!

Notice to those of you using the Mobile version of the site – it has been having software issues for a few days so I’ve just disabled it until those issues are resolved. IMHO, the desktop view has much more to offer anyway 🙂 Apologies for any inconvenience and thanks for your patience!

Thank you Linda, for the warm holiday wishes. I have been tangling for almost a year now and enjoy your emails every day. This year I tangled all 16 place cards at our Thanksgiving table. They were a beautiful addition to our table and a big hit. In addition, the process of tangling one a day the weeks before Thanksgiving helped me from getting stressed out about preparing and serving a meal for 16 of my family members. We had a wonderful day. Thanks to you and all who have contributed their tangle this year.

Thank you again Linda for giving much more than the awesome tangles you send us regularly. From “down under” in Australia with a family living in Iowa who are driving with my son’s in-laws to Minneapolis for this Thanksgiving, meeting up with others from different areas I’m glad he is not flying.!!! It was interesting to see how busy your skies will be. Thank YOU again and may you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving..

Thank you Linda. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as well. So many blessings during the year that I cannot count all of them. Thank you also for all your hard work during the year! Wishing you a blessed New Year!

With our area under a stagnant air warning through the weekend, I am going to be triply thankful to Linda for all the work she’s put into this site. Finding new tangles (not hard for a beginner!) will keep this asthmatic out of the hospital. And I’ll send the very best Of Thanksgiving wishes to everyone in the tangling community –and hopes that your air quality is better than mine!

  • Happy Thanksgiving to you, dear Linda and thnk you for your great work on your website. It is essential to me to get such a lot of inspirations for this wonderful art. I am so glad to be a part of the Tangle community!
Best wishes from Germany- have a great day (and a delicious turkey, may be…) Simone

Yes, SO MUCH to be thankful for this glorious Thanksgiving Day!! I most certainly count you, Linda, and tanglepatterns.com, among them. 🙂 This site with its richness of creative content is the one I visit more than any other! I can’t imagine my Zentangle journey without it. I thank you … every day, I thank you! ❤

Yes! I agree with each and everyone here. Jan Brandt said it very well. I couldn’t say it better.

We had our family Thanksgiving feast, then went to a friend’s house who always puts on an Open House for all the friends that want to show up. We show up for the dessert part. My brother makes his famous pumpkin pie, but I’d already had some of that. So it was the pecan pie I went for this time. I gave the hostess a nice ZIA (with Gourdgeous on it, of course) and lots of people saw it and asked me about it. So I talked up Zentangle and told them about this site. Couldn’t live without it, Linda.

I hope you all have had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
