The unauthorized pinning, reproduction or distribution of this copyrighted work is illegal.I found this grid-based tangle turned out better with a larger grid than I usually do for my examples. My curly bracket shapes ended up long and thin and more leaf-shaped. Back to the drawing board to fatten ’em up – I think my X’s needed to be bigger.

Helen illustrates the steps for drawing Brax here and offers suggestions for various fills “along with examples of how you could approach this with either an offset dot grid, or an x grid.”
