How to draw KRLI-Q

Zentangle pattern: KRLI-QAnother tangle pattern from Canadian artist and CZT®, Margaret Bremner!

As Margaret says, “This is something I occasionally add as a little extra flourish. I think it’s rather elegant and pretty.” And I concur, I love these dancing lines.

KRLI-Q is a great tangle for filling in a large area quickly with lots of lovely curves and scrolls. And such a fun name. More interesting, don’t you think, than curlicue?

The challenge with this tangle is to preserve a contrast of thick and thin areas for visual interest. Hmmm, need more focus on that next time …

Margaret demonstrates the steps for drawing KRLI-Q, here.
