How to draw BUMPS

Zentangle pattern: BumpsCZT® Sue Jacobs’ Bumps tangle is one of those flexible patterns that can just keep growing to fill a section of virtually any size and shape.

Sue says, “Bumps is a great filler pattern that can be used in many spaces. … Bumps is a pattern I’ve played with for years. I finally decided it was time to refine it and name it.”

Zentangle pattern: Bumps (variation)Bumps has the look of a maze about it that’s quite intriguing. Sue suggests several ways to vary the pattern using different shapes. You can also vary it by coloring in some of the shapes as I did here.

Sue illustrates the steps for drawing the tangle Bumps and gives tips and additional shapes to use when drawing it, here. She also posted a lovely blue ZIA incorporating Bumps, here.

Check out the tag suej for more of Sue’s patterns on TanglePatterns.com.
